All Used Up #4

Hi Guys,

So I hope that you are all well, so I know I haven’t done an empties video for a long time so this is going to be a long one, I just completely forgot about it over Christmas and new year. A lot of these products are favourite ones of mine that I have repurchased already.

Sally Hansen Strengthening Nail Polish Remover
This is my go to nail varnish remover and I have used it for such a long time. I have really soft nails and this helps to keep them strong. I have already purchased another one, I go through nail varnish remover so quickly because I love changing my nail colour.

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Intensive Conditioning Mask
This was the first deep conditioning mask I had ever used and I love it, I already have another tub of it on the go. I only use it once or twice a week and it just helps to keep my hair nice and smooth and soft, it also makes my hair more manageable.

Soap & Glory Flake Away
I have got such a Soap & Glory obsession, like I'm sure that most people have at the moment. Everything of theirs smells amazing and works brilliantly. I absolutely love this scrub; it has an oily residue once you have used it which I love. I am currently using their Sugar Crush scrub and I absolutely love that too, I have got another Flake Away in my stash for when the one I am using at the moment runs out.

Clinique Mild Liquid Face Soap
I used to use this cleanser for such a long time, and I had this bottle for a while and I just went through it to use it up really, because I have found other cleansers that I love more than this one. I mean I have some mini ones of this cleanser that I use when I go away anywhere but it isn’t my favourite and I wont be buying the full size one again I don’t think.

Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser
Well, there is so much that I can say about this cleanser, I absolutely love it. It is one of the first cleansers I have been able to use on my eyes that does not sting at all. I really struggle with using cleansers on my eyes normally because they are so sensitive. This is at the moment my favourite cleanser that I have ever used. It smells amazing and just feels amazing on my skin. I am already using another one and have just bought a backup because it is at the moment half price.

Dove Hair Therapy Colour Radiance Conditioner
I randomly bought this because I had run out of conditioner and I found it for £1. I did like it but I wasn’t too keen on the smell at all, I like fruity shampoo and conditioner. I also like changing up my hair care products sometimes so I have not repurchased this and I don’t know if I ever would.

Clinique Moisture Surge
This is my go to night time moisturiser, I have used it for over a year and I absolutely love it, it is a little bit expensive but I think that it is so worth it. You do not need to use much at all and it lasts a long time, I also love the fact that it doesn’t make my skin feel greasy it just makes it feel smooth and soft and hydrated. I am already using another tub of this and I cannot see me buying anything else in the foreseeable future.

Clinique Superdefence
This is my daytime moisturiser that I use alongside my Moisture Surge. I also sometimes use another one which I am going to mention in a moment. I have used this for as long as I have used the Moisture Surge. I have also repurchased this and am using it at the moment and along the same line as the Moisture Surge I cannot see me using anything else.

Superdrug Head In The Clouds Dry Shampoo
I always have some dry shampoo in my beauty cupboard. It is a staple for me, I really liked this one but it was not as good as the Batiste that I was using before, which is what I have repurchased after this one ran out.

Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch Concealer
I think that this was the first illuminating concealer I have ever had, I could be wrong. I really liked this is was the right colour for under my eyes and really brightened up that area. I purchased the Maybelline version to see how it compared once I had finished this one and to be honest I don’t know if they are much different. So I think once my Maybelline one has ran out I will repurchase this one because I think that it is cheaper and pretty much does the same thing

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser
This is the other moisturiser that I was on about before, I have used this for as long as I have had a cleansing routine and I think I will always have it in my collection. I love it for when my skin is feeling a bit oily it just seems to combat that and still moisturise my skin well enough throughout the whole day, I also love this one for in the summer. This was just a mini one that I had in my handbag but I have the full size one on my dressing table that I use.

Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream
I used to use this a lot but I have recently decided it isn’t ‘scrubby’ enough for me now, however this has been over the winter so maybe in the summer I will prefer this again. I think I will try it again in thee warmer months and see how I feel about it.

Dove Go Fresh Pomegranate & Lemon Verbena
The only reason that I bought this was because my normal deodorant (Dove Cucumber & Green Tea) was sold out when I went to get it. I only use Dove deodorants because they are the only ones that I don’t seem to have an allergic reaction to. I did not like this one anywhere near as much as my normal one so I have gone back to my Cucumber & Green Tea one.

Simple Kind To Eyes Makeup Remover Pads
I did really like these, however they were so expensive for what they were because I needed to use atleast 2 of them to get my eye makeup off, which meant that they only lasted about 2 weeks, also that fact that I have now found a cleanser which I can use on my eyes I don’t really need them, however I would get them again if I was going on holiday or something like that, just for ease.

Natural Collection Lash Definition Mascara
For how much this mascara costs I really really like it, I have the clear one for setting my brows. I have also repurchased this, it stays put for most of the day and is not hard to get off at the end of the day. I think that once I have gone through my mascaras that are open I will repurchase this one, although I am still on the hunt for a new mascara that does exactly what I want it to do for me. Any suggestions?

17 Blusher in Damson Wine
This is the 2nd one of these blushes I have had and used up. I love it, it has been an everyday blush of mine for a long time. The colour gives me such a natural look that looks nice and natural, I haven’t repurchased this yet as I have so many more blushes to use up, but I will repurchase it at some point because I really like it.

Clinique High Impact Mascara
This is only one of the miniature mascaras but I have used many of them up and at the moment it is one of my favourite mascaras I have ever used. I have a couple more of the small ones to use up which I am happy about but as I said before I am still on the lookout for one that does everything I want. For me this one doesn’t quite lengthen enough.

No7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser
This was the first hot cloth cleanser I used and I did really like it, I couldn’t use this one on my eyes which was disappointing but it lasted for quite a long time and I liked the fact that it was in a pump bottle. However after finding my superdrug one that I can use on my eyes I do not think that there would be any point in me repurchasing this one again.

So this was everything that I have used up since my last post. I think I may need to start doing these more often because this has taken me a long time to write.

Have any of you used up any products recently?

What Is Currently In My Shower

Hi guys,
I hope that you are all okay! So I thought that I would show you all my favourite shower products at the moment!

Firstly I have Soap & Glory’s Flake Away body scrub, This big pot is almost all gone and I have used 2 small ones before as well, I just absolutely love it for my legs and rest of my body, especially because in the UK at the moment it is soooo colddd!!! I just love using this and I love the smell as well!

Secondly I have St Ives Fresh Skin Invigorating Apricot Scrub, this is my go to face scrub! I absolutely love it, I have no idea how long I have used this for on and off! I don’t just use this in the shower, I use it over the sink as well, probably every 2 days. I love the smell and how well it exfoliates my skin! Especially, as I have just said because it is so cold in the UK at the moment!

Next I have Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser, this smells so amazing! It has Kiwi and Mulberry extracts in it and it just smells so fresh, I love it! I use this morning and night, in the morning I just use it once to clean and awaken my skin, in the evening I use it once to take off my makeup and once to clean my face. Again I don’t just use this in the shower, but I do love washing my face in the shower with this, because it’s so thick and creamy I feel like if I leave it on for a bit and then wash it off (like I do with conditioner in my hair) my skin loves me for it.

Next I have my all-time favourite shampoo, which is Herbal Essences Smooth & Soft, this is hands down my favourite shampoo I have ever used! I love it because it isn’t a gel formula like most other shampoos, it is more of a cream formula, and to me it just seems to foam up so much better than any others, which I love from shampoo, and also it just seems to leave my hair so clean that I am not having to wash it as often as I was before. This also smells amazing! ( I'm going a little smell crazy today I think) My boyfriend even uses this when he is at my house and he likes it too.

Next is my Current Conditioner, Vo5 Give Me Moisture, unlike shampoo I have not yet found my go to conditioner, I always try something different, I do love this one though! But I do think I will continue to try others once this is finished! It smells good and I really do think it is a good moisturising conditioner, I really like using moisturising conditioners because my hair can get very dry.

And lastly is my favourite of all these favourites. Lush Snow Fairy shower gel! OMG it is now December so I am allowed to get excited for Christmas, and this is one thing that always gets me in the mood, I went and bought a massive bottle and just cannot get enough!  It smells incredible, like sweets and candy floss! I love the fact that it has glitter in it too, just gives it that little bit extra to me, but then again I am a sucker for anything pink and sparkly! I know that I am going to have to make sure that I get another bottle before the Christmas season is over! Because I will use this all year round!

Anyway guys, these are what are currently living in my shower, if you have any recommendations for me let me know.
What is living in your shower at the moment?

All Used Up - May 2012

Hey Guys,

So I decided at the start of last month that I would keep my empty products for a blog post, as I absolutely love reading empties posts and watching empties videos on Youtube. So these are probably more than a month’s worth of products here so there may not be this many every month, but I am on a bit of a ‘use everything up’ mission at the moment as I am moving house in around 4 weeks *YAYYYY*

1.       Gillette Satin Care Shave Gel – Radiant Apricot

I really liked this to be honest, but I don’t know if I will re-purchase it. Me and my mum share shave gel and we normally just but what is on offer at the time depending on where we go. I however do love the smell of this one so if it is on offer next time I see it, it will definitely be in my basket!

2.       Clinique Deep Comfort Body Wash

I have had this for a while, my Nan bought me a set of the body was, body lotion and body scrub, I used the body scrub up quite quickly and I still have about half of the body lotion left. I do really like this body wash it foams up great and makes your skin feel really clean afterwards. It doesn’t really have a smell; it just smells like every other Clinique product. Even though I did really like this I do not think that I would repurchase it because for a body wash it is quite expensive and I have quite a few more to use up before I buy any more.

3.       Dove Go Fresh Nourishing Body Wash – Pomegranate & Lemon Verbena

This used to be my staple body wash, I absolutely love the smell, texture and how it foams up. I think it’s a great price, (as I used to buy it in ASDA) I think this will definitely be the one that I go back to after I have used up all the other ones I have!

4.       V05 Cherish My Colour Conditioner

I actually really liked this conditioner, I used it with the shampoo as well, but I always seem to use the conditioner quicker than the shampoo. I do think that it kept my hair colour vibrant and it did leave my hair really smooth and soft. I think that I would repurchase it, if I didn’t always want to try new hair products.

5.       Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner

Now even though what I said before that I very rarely repurchase hair products, I am definitely going to repurchase this one; I only have the small bottle because I do not use it every time I wash my hair. I use it as a bit of a hydration treatment when I am just chilling in the bath about once a week. I think I should probably get the version of this that is actually a mask. So that might be my next purchase, but I think that this is a great conditioner; it smells great and leaves my hair so unbelievably soft. An absolute winner in my eyes.

6.       Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam

This is one of my Holy Grail products. I have already repurchased it; I did so the day after I ran out of this one. It is one of the best skincare products I have used for spot prone skin. I also have the step 2 in this system from Clinique and love that too! I really love foaming cleansers. This one doesn’t dry my skin out at all, and just makes it feel really clean and I feel that it does really work on my spots as well.

7.       Nivea Extra Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover

I didn’t actually buy this myself, I asked my nan to get me the eye make-up remover that I normally use and she couldn’t find it so bought me this one, it was good and it did get my make-up off, but I really didn’t like the smell of it. The one I normally use doesn’t have a smell and this does. I also thought that it stung my eyes more than the one I normally use. Most eye makeup removers sting my eyes, I don’t think I have ever found one that doesn’t at all. But I don’t think that I would repurchase this one again! I have bought my normal one now this is ran out!

8.       Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Scrub

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS! I used to use the Body Shop Mango Scrub and I liked that but I found that it went really bitty on my skin and didn’t go on smooth at all, this does! It is the best body scrub I have ever tried! The smell is amazing as well. I agree with most people that say that it smells like Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Perfume! (Which is next on my list of perfume I want) I have already repurchased the full size tub as this was the small one. This is without a doubt my new favourite body scrub!

9.       Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

This is such an amazing night time moisturiser! I love it! This is a small sample size of it and I have almost used a whole full size tub too, I just love the consistency of it, as it is a Gel Crème. It’s just so smooth and really makes me feel moisturised from the second I put it one to the morning. I have got another small pot of this which I keep at my boyfriend’s house. I have bought a different day and night moisturiser from No7 to give a try because no matter how much I love this one, it is just so expensive! So we will see if I love the No7 one as much or if I will revert back to this one!

10.   Clinique Superdefence SPF25

This was my day moisturiser until I used this up and bough the No7 one to go with the night cream. I did really like it and loved the fact that it has SPF in it, but again it is very expensive. I have also recently bought a Garnier facial SPF so I do not really need one in my moisturiser. I do have another little pot of this at my boyfriend’s house, I am going to say the same about this as the Moisture Surge, if I like the No7 one more then I am going to stick with that but only time will tell.

11.   Estee Lauder Signature Face Powder

This is actually the only make-up product that I have used up recently! I got this as a sample from the counter in my local boots, it is in the shade 12 – Translucent and was a fabulous colour on me, which I really find hard in powders. I absolutely adore loose powder so I loved this and I don’t think I have a bad word to say about this! I have not yet looked at the price so I am not sure how much it is full size, depending on that will determine whether I repurchase it in full size or not.

So that was my empties for this month, I hope that you enjoyed the post, expect another at the end of this month, as I am keeping the Benefit bag under my desk to put all of my empties in.

Lots of Love

KayleighJane
