Loves Of Late ¦ October 2012 ¦

Good Morning Guys,

Once again I am sat up early because my dearest other half has to go to work early, however I see this as a great blogging opportunity! I have been catching up on my blog reading recently and I found ‘Loves of Late’ on Louise from SprinkleOfGlitter’s blog. And I absolutely thought the idea was amazing :) it made me smile so much thinking of everything that has been making me happy at the moment, so here we go!

Wrapping up warm – I absolutely love it when it gets to autumn/winter! I am a bit of a scarf lover especially wooly scarfs! I have already swapped over all of my nice summery scarves for my knitted ones! I love fluffy socks and hoodies aswell! At last count I think I had 12 hoodies! (yes a little excessive I know!) I also loved it when last week I went to a bonfire at my local rugby club, it was my little brother’s 8th birthday on the same day so there was a massive gang of us (including 7 other 8 year olds) and it was soo cold! I got all wrapped up warm and started to feel really Christmassy!

Candles - I have been spending a lot more time in my bedroom than normal, and I actually don’t know why! But I still have my Pink Sands Yankee Candles out in my bedroom because I haven’t been to get any more wintery ones yet! If anyone has any suggestions of wintery candles let me know :) I just think that when it’s dark at night, which is now early in the UK, I love sitting watching the TV or on my laptop with my candles burning :) it makes me feel warmer for some reason!

Cuddling up – again along the same lines at the previous one, Me and Chris (My boyfriend) haven’t been going out as much as we were recently so we have been staying in, watching TV and eating! *hehe* but we have also been watching films and stuff like that! And as its getting so cold now just staying in and cuddling up watching TV makes me very happy!

Cooking – this isn’t just because its winter! I absolutely love cooking full stop! However recently I have been loving making soup! Which I think is because its winter! Soup just makes you feel so warm and snuggly! It also makes me feel like I'm being healthy too! Seen as all I put in my soup is vegetables and stock :) *yay for being healthy*

Sorting – yes this is very random I know! But I go through stages of being very ruthless and getting rid of loads of things out of my bedroom! And at the moment I am in this mode! Sorting out all my clothes and just general stuff (in other words, crap) since we moved house like 3 months ago there is still some stuff that I haven’t organised yet or even looked at! (I know how bad is that?!) but over these next few weeks it is going to be sorted out and organised.

So these are my things that I have been loving of late! I really enjoyed writing this post, it made me feel happy! And who doesn’t like feeling happy! :D What have you guys been loving lately?

Lots of Love

7 Things For 7 Days ¦October 2012¦

So today I have been having a major blog fuddle, and decided to join in Sprinkle or Glitter’s ‘7 Things for 7 Days’ again! So here we go

Pass – my driving test this is! I have got it booked in just over a weeks’ time and I am soo nervous! I mean I know it’s not exactly something small but I am so determined to achieve this!  :) it is my 1st test so I have no idea what to expect, but I have been out in my car practicing with my granddad and having my normal lessons and everyone keeps telling me that I am doing well so *fingers crossed* and all that!

Save – money!! I am spending way too much money on things that I DO NOT NEED!! *going out as well but shhh*  seen as I'm going to be driving soon *hopefully* I am going to need money for petrol and stuff like that :) so yea that really needs to be done!

Stop – Smoking!!! Yes I know that it is such a bad habit!! But along the lines with wanting to save money, it is the biggest waste of money in the world! So far I am 2 days without a cigarette! I am majorly determined this time to do it!

Sort – I still have so many things under my bed in boxes from when we moved house and I am getting a bit fed up with it all just sat there! So I am going to become ruthless and get rid of things that I don’t need!

Prepare – my own tea or lunch! I absolutely love cooking and healthy food! But recently I have been just eating things that are easy to grab quickly. This doesn’t really help with the fact that I am trying to lose weight! :(

Gym – I used to absolutely love going to the gym! It made me feel so much better about myself and gave me so much more energy! I feel so bad because I haven’t been since we moved house! I really want to get back into going swimming and to the gym and get back down to the weight I want to be!

Make time – to do everything I want and need to do! I haven’t seen my friends in a very long time because of things that have been going on at the moment! I really want to make time to go and see them and have good catch ups, as well as getting all my work for college done and going to the gym and eating better! Man that does sound like a lot of stuff to do as well as going to work! Oh well!

Well there we go! There are my 7 things that I want to achieve! I can’t wait to see if I can actually achieve them all! It is going to probably be for the rest of the month but oh well! :)

Have any of you done your 7 things for 7 days?

7 Things for 7 Days

Hi guys,

So im sure that you all read SprinkleOfGlitter’s blog, I know I certainly check it a lot to see what she has updated.

I had a look today just after I had uploaded my Liverpool Haul post and saw this post she uploaded.

I think that this is such an amazing idea! I for one need to get more organised and put some motivation back into myself.

So here it goes!

1.       De-Clutter – As you may know I am moving house in around 4 weeks, which is a ridiculously short time to move everything! We are renting out or house and moving into my step-dads house! EXCITING, however I have SOOOOOO much stuff! Since I moved back from University my bedroom has looked like a bomb has hit it, and I really want my new bedroom to look pretty and nice, so I am going to basically get rid of crap!

2.       Sort Out – this is kind of along the same lines as number 1, but a heck of a lot of my stuff that I bought back from University is still in bags in my Nan and Grandad’s garage, and has been for about 2 months now! As we are going to need to put some of our things from this house (mainly stuff from downstairs) I think that I need to sort it all out. It is mainly plates and that kind of thing but still it needs sorting out.

3.       Revise – I have got my driving theory test booked! *SCAREDDD* and I really want to pass it on my 1st attempt. Yes I know I am quite old for not even doing my theory test but hay ho. Since I got my car back in April I have been working towards passing my driving test and once I have passed my theory I will be able to take my test, so wish me luck guys!

4.       Save – this means money! I spend so much money on ridiculous things, and if I am going to be driving soon I am going to need to have some money saved up for if anything maybe goes wrong with my car *TOUCH WOOD* or for petrol or anything like that.

5.       Make – this refers to my own lunch for work. As I work at a Golf Club, there is a chef there for the shifts that I work, so I either get him to make me something for my lunch or I go to the shop and buy something that I can stick in the microwave. Which links again to number 4, I want to make myself some nice healthy lunches that I can maybe warm up when I am at work or eat cold, if anyone has any suggestions leave them as a comment!

6.       Decide – on what I am actually going to need to buy for my new bedroom and start planning when I can go and buy stuff or if it needs to be ordered to be picked up or delivered at a later date. I know that I already have some beautiful antique wardrobes, a vanity and chest of drawers in my bedroom (which are amazing may I add) but I know that I have not got any bedside tables or a bookcase, which are 2 things that I really want. So I need to make a decision on what I am going to do and where things are going to be able to fit in my new bedroom.

7.       Schedule – I am really enjoying blogging and the blogging community at the moment and I need to either schedule myself some time to do posts each day or like tonight where the BOYF is watching the football on telly *SNORE* I can just sit and write a few posts and then just publish them at a later date. I do also get horrendous mental blocks! So alongside this, when I do get an idea I need to note it down so I can actually do it later!

So guys here are my 7 things to try and get stuck into!

Who else is going to join in Louise’s willpower booster?

Lots of Love
