Loves Of Late ¦ October 2012 ¦

Good Morning Guys,

Once again I am sat up early because my dearest other half has to go to work early, however I see this as a great blogging opportunity! I have been catching up on my blog reading recently and I found ‘Loves of Late’ on Louise from SprinkleOfGlitter’s blog. And I absolutely thought the idea was amazing :) it made me smile so much thinking of everything that has been making me happy at the moment, so here we go!

Wrapping up warm – I absolutely love it when it gets to autumn/winter! I am a bit of a scarf lover especially wooly scarfs! I have already swapped over all of my nice summery scarves for my knitted ones! I love fluffy socks and hoodies aswell! At last count I think I had 12 hoodies! (yes a little excessive I know!) I also loved it when last week I went to a bonfire at my local rugby club, it was my little brother’s 8th birthday on the same day so there was a massive gang of us (including 7 other 8 year olds) and it was soo cold! I got all wrapped up warm and started to feel really Christmassy!

Candles - I have been spending a lot more time in my bedroom than normal, and I actually don’t know why! But I still have my Pink Sands Yankee Candles out in my bedroom because I haven’t been to get any more wintery ones yet! If anyone has any suggestions of wintery candles let me know :) I just think that when it’s dark at night, which is now early in the UK, I love sitting watching the TV or on my laptop with my candles burning :) it makes me feel warmer for some reason!

Cuddling up – again along the same lines at the previous one, Me and Chris (My boyfriend) haven’t been going out as much as we were recently so we have been staying in, watching TV and eating! *hehe* but we have also been watching films and stuff like that! And as its getting so cold now just staying in and cuddling up watching TV makes me very happy!

Cooking – this isn’t just because its winter! I absolutely love cooking full stop! However recently I have been loving making soup! Which I think is because its winter! Soup just makes you feel so warm and snuggly! It also makes me feel like I'm being healthy too! Seen as all I put in my soup is vegetables and stock :) *yay for being healthy*

Sorting – yes this is very random I know! But I go through stages of being very ruthless and getting rid of loads of things out of my bedroom! And at the moment I am in this mode! Sorting out all my clothes and just general stuff (in other words, crap) since we moved house like 3 months ago there is still some stuff that I haven’t organised yet or even looked at! (I know how bad is that?!) but over these next few weeks it is going to be sorted out and organised.

So these are my things that I have been loving of late! I really enjoyed writing this post, it made me feel happy! And who doesn’t like feeling happy! :D What have you guys been loving lately?

Lots of Love

Candle Love: Colony - Vanilla & Cranberry

Hi everyone, I hope that you are all okay. I know I haven’t posted on here for nearly a week but I haven’t really known what to blog about. However I am at home at the moment (Instead of University) and I had an idea. As some of you may know I absolutely adore candles! They are one of my favourite things in the world and a major thing that I hate about my university halls. (we are not allowed them) so I thought that I would tell you about my favourite candle of the moment.

This is the Colony Vanilla and Cranberry candle. I absolutely love the smell of this and as you can probably tell by the pictures it is almost at the end. *sadface* and I really wish that I had bought some more of these as they were Christmas collection candles. I have been trying to find some of them online but at the moment I am struggling, I do have another Colony candle in a different scent that I got when I bought this one which I am going to start burning once I have finished this one.

Fruity scents are my absolute favourite when it comes to candles, as well as vanilla, which is what I think makes me absolutely love this candle. I am going to go on a mission to find some more of these candles or something similar, even as a massive candle lover I still have not tried Yankee Candles, so I think that this may have to be one of my next purchases. Even though I have no idea where I should start with them, so if any of you have any recommendations for some really nice ones please let me know.

As I am moving back home from university at the end of March I think I am going to get myself some nice new candles for then, so when I have been on the shopping spree I will haul them for you on here. I shall have to see what I can find.

So I know that this post was quite short and sweet, but I will think of some other posts I can put up soon and hopefully have some more interesting posts for you very soon.

Lots of love

Love: Body Shop!

Hi guys, so today I went to the Body Shop because I saw that they had a sale on, I only bought 2 things but they were such good deals! Firstly I got the Lychee Blossom Body Butter, I got the 200ml size and it was on sale for an amazing £5.00!! Down from £12.50!! Hence why I couldnt resist buying it! :)

I am a massive fan of the Body Shop Body Butters and have got 2 others, Cranberry and Mango, but I had never actually seen this fragrance one before so I smelt it in the shop and smelt absolutely devine so I had to have it! I am a lover of fruity scents anyway so this is right up my street! It says that it is for normal to dry skin which is perfect for me as my skin changes. Depending on the weather etc. It does contain Lychee extract aswell so I bet that is the reason it smells so yummy! :) I also think the packaging is amazing too! I love the bright pink pot with the white lid and the label has flowes on, I think that it looks really summery. I took a picture beforeIi used it tonight after I got out of the shower so that it wasnt used on the photo. But I have used this tonight and it doesnt dissapoint. The smell is just as good if not better on your skin and it lasts for a very long time! It also seemed to sink into my skin very quickly, I put my PJ's on after a couple of minutes. I definately love this body butter and am so glad that I purchaced it, even at its full price of £12.50 i I think that it is worth the money and I would definately repurchase at the full price!

The second product that I bought was the Cranberry Joy shower gel. This was priced at £2.00! I am not too sure how much it should have been but £2.00 is great for me for a 250ml product! The reason I purchased this is because the Cranberry Body Butter is my favorite one that the Body Shop does and i always get one for christmas! My Auntie was the one to get it for me this year! it has been different names in the past but it still seems like exactly the same product.

This is the bottle, I love the packaging and it smells amazing aswell! The shower gel itself was very good too, didnt feel drying on my skin and lathered up great into a foam, (I hate shower gels that dont do that!!)

So anyway i hope you all liked this and i may have inspired you to pop out and see what they have in your local Body Shop! The boy in the store told me that it was on for another week or 2 so get cracking :)
