Lets Call A Spade A Spade!
Yes I know I have been a terrible blogger! :( *slaps own
wrist* I am not going to sit here and make excuses because it’s not really what
I want to write about to be honest. However I will say that I have had a few
issues going on recently with some of my family so I have been putting that and
work as a high priority in my life at the moment.
Anyway now that is out of the way I just feel like sitting
here and talking to you all, seen as life has been a bit, shall I say poo
recently, I have decided that I need to sort myself out and make the most of
myself as much as I can. So I have been thinking about some things that I want
to do so that I can work towards slapping myself round the face and telling
myself to get a grip.
1-
Absolutely
gut my wardrobe – I have spent so long buying clothes because they look
good on my friends or because I want to wear that style, even if it doesn’t suit
me. I am also very bad at throwing things out, I’m a little bit of a hoarder (my
mother would disagree, she thinks I am the world’s worst hoarder) however I am
not getting to the point where I have lots of clothes that I don’t wear and
that I don’t like, so instead of just throwing them away, I am going to give
them to a local charity shop, this also links in with another thing that I want
to do which is ‘do something good for somebody else’
2-
Go to the
gym at least twice a week – I have gone and got myself a gym membership
because I am fed up of feeling lazy and groggy, I do actually really enjoy
going to the gym and going swimming, and this is the package I have got at my
local gym. So whether it’s the gym twice or 1 gym session and 1 swimming
session, I am going to try my best to make myself stick to it!
3-
Lose some
weight – I have said this to my mum and I got a grilling from her, telling
me that I am fine the way I am and all that malarkey (that stuff mums say
because they have to) but I want to do it for me, nobody else, I am a size
12/14 at the moment and id be happy being a 10/12, I know I am never going to
be a tiny skinny mini, I am not built that way and neither is anyone from my
family (minus my twin brother but he is like a stick insect, all arms and legs
so we don’t count that)
4-
Start saving
– money I mean, I am terrible at saving money! Like really terrible, money
burns a hole in my pocket; however I need to start getting myself some savings
together so that I can eventually hopefully move out of home into my own place.
(or hopefully our own place)
5-
Be more
positive – I am a bit of a negative person, I think that everything is
going to go wrong, that everybody is saying something about me or that im going
to get bad news. I am a bit of a paranoid weirdo really, however I want to be a
lot more positive about things, so I am going to get some motivational quotes
in my bedroom so that I can look at them and try and make myself more positive.
There are a few more things but I think that 5 is enough for
a blog post, I will keep you guys updated as to how I get on.
Have any of you set yourselves any targets recently?
Lots of Love

Some Important News For You All
Hello there everyone,
I know that I have not been around for a while and I apologise
for that so much, I have been so ridiculously busy with life, I’m pretty sure
that you will all know what I mean with that.
Anyway I have been having a very hard blogger think, and I hate
to say it but I have kind of lost my ‘beauty’ inspiration in my blog. So I have
been thinking and have decided that I am now going to lean more towards the
lifestyle/my life sort of blog.
I am thinking about changing the name to something a bit
more in-keeping with the new style, however do not fear there will still be
beauty and makeup bits thrown into the mix of the blog, just there will be more
lifey type things on here which is what I have really enjoyed thinking about
ideas for and reading other peoples versions of their life blogs.
So if any of you have any ideas of what I can rename BBN or
of anybody who could help me to create a new blog layout I would be ever so grateful.
Lots of Love

Wanting A New Hairdo
Hi guys, so I am having my hair done on Monday and I am
looking to have a change, I haven’t had my hair properly cut for about 8 or 9
months. So I could do with having a bit cut off it. I know that I am not
getting it dyed at the hairdressers but I am thinking of dying it myself on Thursday,
I feel like going a bit of a lighter brown than
I am at the minute. But not go back blonde, for one it is too much
maintenance and I don’t think that it really suits me.
So I have gotten together a few pictures of things that I quite
like and I was wondering what you guys thought, I still want to be able to tie
my hair up if I need to.

I have found it a little strange that all the pictures that I like are of blondes!!??
I also thought that I would add in a few pictures of how I have
had my hair over the last few years to show you the kinds of things that I have
had before.
So what do you guys think?

No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush Review
Hi guys,
I hope that you are all okay, so I have wanted to try out a
Clarisonic ever since I have been watching beauty videos and reading beauty
blogs. However It is such a large expense that I wasn’t sure whether I could
afford, so I have been thinking about it for such a long time, until I saw the
No7 Cleansing Brush that they have bought out.
I bought mine for £15, which for me was a good price to try
it out. I think the RRP is going to be £25 which is still nearly £100 less than
the Clarisonic. It says on the box “supercharge your cleanser for skin that
feels twice as clean”. Well I can definitely say that it makes my skin feel
very very clean. I do use It after an initial cleanse when I have makeup on but
just on its own when I don’t. I feel like it has helped to get rid of dry
patches on my skin that I have had over the winter months. I do think that my
skin is purging slightly with it as I have had a few break outs, whether this
is the Cleansing Brush or hormones I am not too sure.
The brush itself is very lightweight and it powered by 2 AA
batteries. The brush head itself is very soft and has 2 different speeds to
which it rotates. They are not selling replacement heads yet but according to
the No7 consultant I spoke to she said that they will be coming out in about
March time priced at £8 for a 2 pack. Which again to me I don’t think is
expensive at all.
I am very glad that I purchased this and I will do an updated
post once I have been using it for a while and let you know how I have been
getting on with it.
Have any of you tried this out?

New Years Resolutions
Hey Guys,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
So I did the same post as this last year, letting you know
what my New Year’s resolutions are. I have seen a lot of people making videos
or blogging about theirs and I really enjoy reading them. So I thought I would
add mine.
1 – Pass My
Driving Test – this is one that is the same as last year unfortunately.
It was very nearly completed as I have taken my test twice in October and November
last year and I unfortunately failed both of them. However I have it again very
soon so hopefully this will be quickly done and dusted.
2 – Start Playing
Golf Again – I used to play golf a lot when I was younger, I played
from when I was 9 years old until I was 18. So I haven’t played for 2 years, I used
to absolutely love it. In April of last year I started working at a golf club
and it just made me want to play again so much! So I have now decided that this
is the year! I want to start playing properly and get better, I have wanted to
get a hobby again after I stopped dancing so this is going to be it!
3 – Look After
Myself – this is kind of broad and it covers a lot of things. From eating
better, cooking my own meals instead of having takeaways, making sure I take my
makeup off at night, to exercising more & losing some weight. I have put
this all under one because I think that most of them tie into each other and
will all together make me feel better about myself.
4 – Believe In
Myself – yes this may sound stupid but it is something that I really
need to do! I have very little self-belief at all, and my boyfriend is always
telling me that I need to, so I am trying to make myself think positively about
things around me, and myself. I am a very pessimistic person, and I just need
to try and see the good in things & myself. If you have read my Body
Confidence post then you will understand this one.
5 – Plan –
lastly this one again covers a few things, I am a list maker, and I love
writing things down, they help me to remember things. Maybe that is why I like
blogging. So I think that I need to plan what I am doing with my time and
myself, Chris bought me a beautiful not book for Christmas so I am going to
carry this around with me so that I can write myself notes and lists. Secondly which
may sound strange is for the future. I want to start saving money up for the future
and try and make sure that I keep myself in good stead for if there is anything
I need to do in the future.
So that is all of my resolutions. Have you wrote any New Year’s
Resolutions?
Lots of Love

Happy 2013!
Well helloo there! Long-time no see! I do apologise for
being away for like 2 weeks, but Christmas and New Year just got in the way. I had
far too much to do and sort out along with going to see family and that kind of
thing you do at Christmas time. I am at the minute just sat on my bed in my
newly moved around bedroom, I spent the whole day yesterday sorting, cleaning
and moving my whole bedroom around and today my arms are killing me! I decided I
wanted to sit down and blog, but I don’t really know what about to be honest
with you all so this may get a bit rambly. I Apologise.
So I hope that you all had a great Christmas and New Year
and spent it with people that really matter. (As well as Santa bringing you
what you want) I had a great Christmas, Christmas Eve I spent the day helping
my Mum & Auntie prepare everything for the party that we have at our house
that night with all my Step-Dad’s side of the family, which I really enjoyed. Then
I went and got my Christmas Jumper & Santa Hat on and enjoyed the party
with my little cousins and aunties and uncles for a few hours. At about 9:30 me
and my boyfriend Chris went out into our town for a drink and to see some of
our friends (which didn’t last very long because Chris was a little merry
*SHHHHH*) so we came home and had some food and then went to bed. Christmas
morning, Chris had to go home to see his family so we got up and had some breakfast
and then he went home. My brother and his girlfriend came home at about 11, so
then we opened some presents and got ready. Me and my mum then walked around to
my Nan’s house to help get the dinner ready which we normally eat about 2:30pm.
After lunch we had some presents at my nans and then came back to my house
where Chris came back to so we could see each other and give each other our
presents. I may be strange but I love Boxing Day, me & Chris went up to our
town to meet some of our friends and have some lunch. It was a lovely day.
New Year was pretty standard TBH! Go out, get drunk, watch
the count down, and go home. It was a good night, there only ended up being me,
Chris and one of our friends originally but then we met up with some of our
other friends later on. It was a nice night and nice to spend it with people
that mattered and in our local pub.
So this post has ended up being what I did over Christmas and
New Year, I hope that I didn’t bore you too much!
What did you all get up to over Christmas & New Year?

Blogger Broken!?!
Hi guys!
I'm getting really annoyed with Blogger at the moment
because I have written about 8 or 9 posts to schedule to go up but they wont
let me upload any images! Which makes them pointless :( I am starting to think
about starting a new blog with a different provider or something along those
lines! I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas of either how I can fix the
photo uploading problem or which are other good blog providers :)
Thank you so much!
Lots of Love

go and actually unpack everything, but I am so happy with it now and I absolutely
love it! It is exactly what I wanted it to be like. So without more waffling
from me, here it is! Let me know what you think.

Candle Rave: Yankee Candle Pink Sands
Hello there guys,
Long-time no see, I have been a little bit of a busy bee
with working a lot and getting ready to move house in about 3 or 4 weeks! So today
I just have a small post for you on a brand new candle that I have fell in love
with!
This is the Yankee Candle in Pink Sands. This as far as I’m
aware is a new one for this summer, I have just found this information from http://www.scentedcandleshop.com/candle-news/index.php/new-yankee-candle-fragrance-pink-sands/
Inspired by far away
pink sand beaches and crystal clear ocean waters, this exotic island candle
escape is essential to accompany spring or summer. Each note within the
candles’ fragrance is chosen to complement one another, as vivid citrus, sweet
florals, and spicy vanilla create the lush Pink Sands Candle Range.
In my opinion I think
that it smells like melon, but I absolutely love the scent and the fact that it
is pink, hence the fact I have got 1 of the biggest jars and 2 of the small
jars!
Have any of you tried
this scented candle? What do you think?

Love: Body Shop!
Hi guys, so today I went to the Body Shop because I saw that they had a sale on, I only bought 2 things but they were such good deals! Firstly I got the Lychee Blossom Body Butter, I got the 200ml size and it was on sale for an amazing £5.00!! Down from £12.50!! Hence why I couldnt resist buying it! :)
I am a massive fan of the Body Shop Body Butters and have got 2 others, Cranberry and Mango, but I had never actually seen this fragrance one before so I smelt it in the shop and smelt absolutely devine so I had to have it! I am a lover of fruity scents anyway so this is right up my street! It says that it is for normal to dry skin which is perfect for me as my skin changes. Depending on the weather etc. It does contain Lychee extract aswell so I bet that is the reason it smells so yummy! :) I also think the packaging is amazing too! I love the bright pink pot with the white lid and the label has flowes on, I think that it looks really summery. I took a picture beforeIi used it tonight after I got out of the shower so that it wasnt used on the photo. But I have used this tonight and it doesnt dissapoint. The smell is just as good if not better on your skin and it lasts for a very long time! It also seemed to sink into my skin very quickly, I put my PJ's on after a couple of minutes. I definately love this body butter and am so glad that I purchaced it, even at its full price of £12.50 i I think that it is worth the money and I would definately repurchase at the full price!
The second product that I bought was the Cranberry Joy shower gel. This was priced at £2.00! I am not too sure how much it should have been but £2.00 is great for me for a 250ml product! The reason I purchased this is because the Cranberry Body Butter is my favorite one that the Body Shop does and i always get one for christmas! My Auntie was the one to get it for me this year! it has been different names in the past but it still seems like exactly the same product.
This is the bottle, I love the packaging and it smells amazing aswell! The shower gel itself was very good too, didnt feel drying on my skin and lathered up great into a foam, (I hate shower gels that dont do that!!)
So anyway i hope you all liked this and i may have inspired you to pop out and see what they have in your local Body Shop! The boy in the store told me that it was on for another week or 2 so get cracking :)
Love
