No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush Review

Hi guys,

I hope that you are all okay, so I have wanted to try out a Clarisonic ever since I have been watching beauty videos and reading beauty blogs. However It is such a large expense that I wasn’t sure whether I could afford, so I have been thinking about it for such a long time, until I saw the No7 Cleansing Brush that they have bought out.

I bought mine for £15, which for me was a good price to try it out. I think the RRP is going to be £25 which is still nearly £100 less than the Clarisonic. It says on the box “supercharge your cleanser for skin that feels twice as clean”. Well I can definitely say that it makes my skin feel very very clean. I do use It after an initial cleanse when I have makeup on but just on its own when I don’t. I feel like it has helped to get rid of dry patches on my skin that I have had over the winter months. I do think that my skin is purging slightly with it as I have had a few break outs, whether this is the Cleansing Brush or hormones I am not too sure.

The brush itself is very lightweight and it powered by 2 AA batteries. The brush head itself is very soft and has 2 different speeds to which it rotates. They are not selling replacement heads yet but according to the No7 consultant I spoke to she said that they will be coming out in about March time priced at £8 for a 2 pack. Which again to me I don’t think is expensive at all.

I am very glad that I purchased this and I will do an updated post once I have been using it for a while and let you know how I have been getting on with it.

Have any of you tried this out?

Review: The 17 Smokey Eye Palette

Hey Guys,
I hope that you are all okay, I know that I haven’t been around for a week or so but things got a little on top of me! However I am back with a little review on the 17 Smokey Eye Palette. This is free when you spend over £5.99 on the 17 range in Boots. My Nan kindly gave me this because she got it for free. So I thought that I would review it for you guys,

It comes in a nicely designed black grey and gold box which I actually really like. The actual packaging of the palette is quite basic, its plain black chunky packaging with white writing on, however I do quite like it.

The kit contains 3 Eyeshadows, 1 Mini Eyeliner Pencil & 1 Mini Brush. I quite like the pigmentation of all of the eyeshadows. My favourite is the palest colour in the palette, which is a shimmery silver colour which I think I will probably use most out of all of the colours in this palette. The other 2 colours are both nice and I think all complement each other to make a good smoky eye look from just one palette.

What do you guys think about this palette, would you consider getting it with some other 17 products?

ImPRESS Press-on Manicure - Review

Hey Guys,

I hope you are all okay! I have been a little slack this week on my blogging again! *SmackHand* I have been so busy with working and beginning to start everything out for the house move! Also just as an added note, I passed my driving theory today! *YAYYY* 1st time and everything!

Anyway onto the actual post, over this weekend I decided to try out my ImPRESS Press-on Manicure. I had from Friday afternoon off work until Monday morning, nails are not a great thing for me to have for work as I work behind a bar so nail varnish gets chipped very easily and DIY false nails just come off when im washing glasses etc. so as I knew that I was going out this weekend for a couple of different things I decided to give them a go, I got soooo many compliments about them and absolutely loved them. They were so easy to apply, all you have to do is find the right size for your nails, peel off the backing and press them on. As easy as that!! I would definitely try them again as I found that they stayed on great!

This second picture is actually one that my best friend’s sister posted on her Instagram when I saw her in the pub on Sunday night and she actually captioned it ‘REEM NAILS!’ which I was very impressed with!

Have any of you tried these nails? If so what did you think?
